Endless Space is now available for pre-ordering on Steam. There are 2 different pre-order packages available: an “Admiral Edition” for 15,74€ or 22,49€ (depending on where you live apparently), that includes access to Alpha and all upcoming versions including the final version of the game, the game soundtrack, and community bonuses. There is also a special edition called “Emperor Special Edition” for 17,99€ (or 26,24€, again depending on your country’s zone – must be a VAT thing, or Valve thing?…) for people that want to be more actively involved in the game’s development process. Both editions will be available at a 25% discount until May 31st 2012.
Endless Space is a space 4X game being developed by Amplitude Studios, a recently founded indie games development company. The game is currently in alpha and is following an interesting development process where people are invited to participate on the game’s production called Games2Gether (a system created by Amplitude Studios). You have an interview we did with Romain de Waubert (Endless Space’s Creative Director) here. Stay tuned for an alpha first look preview to publish right next to this announcement post.
